Butterflies Everywhere

It was a serene lovely morning when my dear daughter turned one. I was filled with elation and my euphoria knew no bounds. After all 365 days were spent with Aadya and it seemed as if just 365 seconds had passed. Every day was filled with vivid memories and new acts from my mischievous daughter and I was so hooked on to demonstrate them with all possible forms of birthday decoration.

I had organized a birthday party to celebrate my ecstasy with friends and relatives. "Butterfly" theme was set and all the guests had been well informed. Every possible decoration was adorned with a butterfly to reflect the bliss butterflies add to our eyes and to illustrate that my dear daughter was no less soft and cute as a butterfly.

As you can see in the photographs, the backdrop, danglers, cake, table, gifts, etc. were all given the shape of butterfly. The place looked like a fairy land were tiny butterflies were casting their spell with their tiny magic wands. Let me give you a quick list at the backdrop:
1) 12 months picture of my daughter, each depicting a different emotion and expression - each held by a butterfly☺☺
2) A backdrop with a message "Aadya's 1st Birthday" in kirigamy styled butterfly
3) Rosettes at both the sides with butterflies to it

Other things that was incorporated as a part of theme were:
1) A frame of flower and butterflies for guests
2) Danglers showing butterfly, flowers and "1"
3) Table decored with butterflies
4) Butterfly Cake
5) Return Gift patched with butterflies
6) Butterfly magic wand for kids
7) Butterfly hair pins and broach for guests
8) Butterfly shaped tissue paper for use
9) Butterflies put on straw of welcome drink
10) Butterfly decored message tray for guests to write wishes for the little angel
11) Salad dressed in the shape of butterfly
12) A butterfly based tambola for all guests
13) Butterfly sticker  game for kids
14) Most importantly, my daughter was attired with butterfly wings, hair band and magic wand to make her look like a human butterfly herself

It was a splendid evening full of butterflies and all the guests were enthralled with the arrangements and theme incorporation. I'm sure you can also have a great butterfly based theme birthday party for your little darling angel.

You can add more to your decorations to complement your arrangement. A few examples include - butterfly lamp on every table, lanterns with butterflies hung around the place, butterfly shaped balloon decoration, butterfly cookies for guests, butterflied thank you cards for your guests, butterfly shaped chocolate box for children and more.

Moreover, all the decorations were prepared at home. Care was taken to have a beautiful evening without much cost. To my surprise this worked wonder when the guests acknowledged the arrangements and my level of satisfaction was to the fullest possible extent. You can have a similar setup for your home at an economic price.
